RentalCheck™ Privacy Policy at a Glance This statement applies to information collected, used and disclosed by RentalCheck Canada.
Personal Information
We collect information, as it is defined by applicable law, which may include: names, addresses, phone numbers, other fee's, rent collected, utility costs and legal information such as judgements and lawsuits.
This information does NOT include information about: Race, colour, creed, religion or commercial enterprises. Information is collected from the public, previous tenants, public records and documents.
Uses
We disclose information to RentalCheck™ customers that have a purpose for using it that is permitted applicable laws. RentalCheck may be required to disclose information if a law, regulation, or court order legally obliges us to.

RentalCheck™ prides itself on being a reliable source of information and is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal information under its control. We are publishing this Privacy Policy to provide a comprehensive overview of our practices and procedures relating to the protection of personal information as well as its use, collection and disclosure.
RentalCheck™ helps tenants make knowledgeable decisions when looking to rent a property. With the availability of a Property Report™, their decision can be based on Landowner Maintenance and upkeep, Rent collection history and Estimated Utility Cost. RentalCheck provides such information as collected under the law.
RentalCheck™ is committed to collecting, using and disclosing the most accurate information reasonably available to it. If you have reviewed a Property Report™ and believe that an item is not accurately reported, please complete the Update Form which can be downloaded free of charge from the Information Box located on the left.
Upon receipt of your Update Form regarding the information that you are disputing, RentalCheck™ will contact the source of the information reported to verify the item. If we are unable to confirm a particular piece of information, we will ask you for proof of the inaccuracy to validate the information.
